The main problems of evidence in dealing with early civilizations is that much of the potential evidence itself--such as tools, homes, etc--has vanished due to the fact that it was made of materials such as clay that could not withstand the test of time and weather.

Whereas the International Military Tribunal for the Far East or Tokyo Trials, were for the crimes the Japanese for starting and waging the war in the Pacific as well as the crimes the Japanese perpetrated on POW’s and civilian internees from their occupation of China.
Both trials established permanent principles, guidelines, and ethic laws regarding war crimes.

The Marshal plan’s aid in providing stability was in part as prevention of the rise of communist sentiments in said counties that they might otherwise be vulnerable to due to the continued economic hardships that would have been experienced.
