Answer:

S =2\sqrt{3}r^{2}

plus in the 9 and theres your answer

Step-by-step explanation:

ok lets see here after some research

So a hexagon can be split into 6 equilateral triangles right? well,

each base of each triangle is equal to r * \frac{2}{\sqrt{3} }

because of this, the area of each triangle equals

(\frac{1}{2}) * (r *  \frac{2}{\sqrt{3} }) * r = \frac{r^{2} }{\sqrt{3} }

because there are 6 triangles, it is 6 times greater.

S=\frac{6r^{2} }{\sqrt{3} } = 2\sqrt{3}r^{2}

If the rectangle below were to be enlarged by a scale factor of 5, what would the new dimensions be?
rewona [7]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

2*5 = 10

3*5 = 15

The thing you should check is to see if the ratio of the length and width remains the same.

original length         2

============   =   ====

original width          3

New length          10

=========   =     ====

New width           15

But 10 / 15 is the same as 2/3 so the original ratio of 2/3 is not destroyed.

Evaluate b – 2 a – c for a = –7, b = 3, and c = –7.
Valentin [98]

Answer: 24

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

b - 2a - c

a = - 7

b = 3

c = - 7

Substituting the values into the expression , we have

3 - 2 ( - 7 ) - ( - 7 )

⇒ 3 + 14 + 7

= 24
