Answer:

La vie ici au bord de la mer est très simple. Je fais un peu de cuisine et les enfants font la vaisselle. On ne fait pas beaucoup de lessive et nous faisons le ménage ensemble. C'est vite fait.

Le matin, mon mari et moi faisons du jogging. L'après-midi, j'aime faire de longues promenades. Les enfants préfèrent faire du sport. Paul fait du tennis et Anne fait de la voile. Tous les deux font la connaissance de beaucoup d'autres jeunes. C'est une vie bien agréable.

What verb tense should I use when talking about the past?
Lyrx [107]

It really depends. If you are talking about a specific detail that happened in the past, or an activity you used to do continuously in the past, you use imparfait or to describe a singular event that happened (Last year, last week, last Sunday etc.) you use passe compose avec avoir or etre as your auxiliary verbs.

The following are the verb endings for imparfait -

-ais, ais, ait, ait, ions, iez, aient

To form the passe compose avec avoir/etre you have the pronoun (je, tu, il, elle, nous, vous, ils, elles) followed by the auxiliary present tense of avoir/etre and the past participle.
