The goal of the EPA is to protect human health and the environments where people live, learn, and work. EPA uses ASPECT which detect chemicals and radiation using infrared photography from the air. EPA use bioremediation agents, when these materials are introduced into an oil discharge, they make the oil biodegrade faster. This means that the particles can disperse more quickly.
