Answer:

German emperor attacked Italy, and made himself king.

Explanation:

The attack itself is not the main reason for Roman's downfall. Western Roman empire gradually became weaker after its territory was continually divided during the power struggles between the King's children.

If the attack came to Rome during the height of its  power. The German's would be easily defeated.

Odoacer , One of The German emperors at that time, attacked the Italian  territory while they're at the weakest point. He declared himself as King Italy right after and marked the downfall of the western Roman empire.

Svetradugi [14.3K]

Answer:

The answer is: letter D, He votes to elect officials to represent him in the government.

Explanation:

Ancient Greece has a huge influence on the democracy of the USA, especially when it comes to the<em> power of the people (state).</em> Part of Greek culture was the replacement of their people in the government position through <em>"peaceful means."</em> Such means was the "election" whereby people were allowed to vote the candidate they see fit. In order to vote, the citizens needed to attend the assembly. From there, the voting takes place.

Just like the ancient Greeks, <u>Mr. Sanchez is also doing the same activity of voting in order to elect officials that would represent him in the government. </u>This means that he also has a voice and takes an active role in a democratic society.

Thus, this explains the answer.

Andrej [43]

There are other punishments other than lock up, through which we can satisfy society's demand for retribution.

Retribution refers to punishing or taking avenge from a person who has done a crime. Normally, a person who has committed a crime is placed behind bars as a punishment.

But in scenarios, where you can't put the criminal behind lock up, you can fulfill the demand of retribution by following other procedures such as Restitution. Restitution can be described as a process where a person has to financially pay a heavy amount of money for the crime he has committed.
