hypotenuse (h) = ?

sin 30° = p/h

1/ 2 = 4 / h

cross multiply

h = 8

with reference angle 60°

perpendicular (p) = ?

hypotenuse (h) = 8

sin 60° = p/h

√3 / 2 = p / 8

Cross multiply

2p = √3 * 8

p = 4 √3
