The slope is 1 or -1 depending on if the line is going down or if it’s going up.

To find the slope count how many units up from the starting point to the end point which is 14. Then divide that number by how many units horizontally from the starting point to the end point which is 14. 14/14=1.
In this case (taking that each block is 1) you can see that the line is y=x +1.
