brad believes in music for its therapeutic effect on unhappy people is that a transitive or intransitive verb
liubo4ka [24]
It would be transitive. A transitive has a direct object, something that it the verb is acting on. The verb is belive. The direct object is what it's acting on, so, what is he believing? In music. He is believing on the music, so since it has a direct object, it's transitive.

It would be intransitive if it didn't have a direct object:

I believe.
He believed.

But as soon as you add any kind of direct object it's transitive:

I believed him.
He believed the dog.

Salsk061 [2.6K]

Answer:

Explanation:

Drawing on documents, such as the Virginia Declaration of Rights, state and local calls for independence, and his own draft of a Virginia constitution, Jefferson wrote a stunning statement of the colonists' right to rebel against the British government and establish their own based on the premise that all men are created equal and have the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

miss Akunina [59]

Answer:

4.

Explanation:

Humpty-Dumpty is a nursery rhyme best known in English language. The rhyme was earliest published in 1797 in Samuel Arnold's Juvenile Amusements. The lyrics of the rhyme have been changed over the years.

The meterical syllables used in the poem is 'trochaic tetrameter.' Trochaic tetrameter is a line in poem where stressed syllable is followed by unstressed syllables and contains four beats.

Flem lives in Oregon. He's tired of the weather and decides to move one state south to live by the sea side. Which state did he
sashaice [31]
California

The clues from the text are "one state south" and "sea side". There are only a few states one state south of Oregon: Nevada and California. Nevada is landlocked which means it does not have any access to the ocean. Therefore, your answer must be California. California's entire Western border is on the ocean.
