Answer:

"To My Dear and Loving Husband" is a poem by the Colonial American poet Anne Bradstreet. The poem was first published in 1678, as part of Bradstreet's posthumous collection Several Poems. Bradstreet was the first poet—and the first woman—in colonial America to write and publish a book of poems. The poem is autobiographical and describes the passionate love between the speaker and her husband. The speaker describes that love as pure and redemptive. The poem thus implicitly argues against some religious poets who describe love as a sinful or unholy act.

Since the subject here is the Midwest which is singular the linking verb should agree with the subject as singular thus, was.

Further example,

"Nor" and "neither" go together and they are the negative form of "or" and "either". "Or and "either" are the positive form of "nor" and "neither".
A good example of using "or" and "either" is the following sentence:You can either run or cycle to the shops.

A travel magazine has asked its readers to send in articles describing what their ideal holiday destination would be.Write your
mariarad [96]

Answer:

I would choose Hawaii which is in the Pacific Ocean because pictures from the islands look like it is enjoyable and has a lot of things to do. It looks beautiful and the ocean is clear and warm. It is not disgusting like other beaches in the world.

In Hawaii u can see and do a lot. One of the many things is seeing views like the mountains. You can hike on them and look at the beautiful landscape at the top. You also can do any water games like water skiing and if you fall off, it wouldn’t be cold because the ocean is so warm.

Some of the accommodations are the enjoyable beach houses that are on the beach so all you have to do is walk out the backyard to get to the beach. They have restaurants that have tropical drinks that make it even better. They have resorts that have rides and water games.

Out of all the islands of Hawaii I would choose Hawaii to visit because it has the most tourist attraction and best activities. Hawaii also is the biggest and has the best views of volcanoes and mountains to see. Hawaii also has better restaurants and resorts that you can go to and see.
