Answer:

You stay more focused and interactive with a sport you do like. but if it's a sport you don't like then you won't willingly do it or stay interested which could make u not involved.

Well if you like a sport you will most likely put all of your effort to it. And if you don’t like the sport you would probably not care and just play.
