  • It is understood that the Ilocos as well as the Cordillera region have special textiles. In respect of certain style and overall characteristics, these two different types of textiles should differ. But both hold the name of Filipinos who live throughout the mountainous regions for even the most portion.  
  • In specific, Ilocos textile is known for its 'Binakul' - a method carried out by the Ilocanos throughout the manufacture of quality textiles. In addition, regardless of its complicated shape, textiles some of which have undergone the above procedure could be easily identified.
  • The variations between some of the textiles of the Ilocano and Cordillera provinces can be discussed. There is a distinct feature of any kind of textile. Nevertheless, the two regions share the same conviction that elaborate textile architecture showcases their everyday lives.
