In the end, Soda fulfills his role as peacekeeper and is able to brong his brothers together. As you can see, Sodapop Curtis is the most unique and interesting characters to this novel.
One of Soda’s accomplishments is he brought his brothers together. He told them how he actually feels about Darry and Ponyboy fighting a lot from his perspective. When the brothers heard how much their fighting affects Soda, they vowed to try to understand more and try not to fight that much.
