The best example of an adverb phrase is B. Mr. Bruns had been teaching for 35 years.

This is an adverb phrase, because the phrase "for 35 years" answers the question of how long Mr. Bruns had been teaching. The verb is "teaching", and "for 35 years" modifies this verb.

Explain why A Long Walk to Water is an appropriate title for Nya's story, and why it is an appropriate title for Salva's story.
bija089 [108]
Not sure if you are looking for a paragraph or a whole essay, but here is something you can start with and elaborate on:

A Long Walk To Water is an appropriate title for Nya’s story because it highlights her daily, extended journey to water in a place where she is not safe. Two things such as water and safety that we take for granted, Nya has to travel long hours and even get hurt in the process for. It shows her journey as a child who has to work hard for necessity.

A Long Walk To Water is an appropriate title for Salva because it depicts his story as a refugee. As Salva goes through dangerous situations, we see him develop as a person and how these situations affected him. It was a long walk, but he eventually found himself to be helping children that would go through the same thing as him. It was a long walk to refreshing, calming water for both Nya and Salva.

How is the tragic hero King Lear presented in Act 3 Scene 2?

2 PEAL PARAGRAPHS
AVprozaik [17]

Summary: Act 3, scene 2

Meanwhile, Lear wanders around in the storm, cursing the weather and challenging it to do its worst against him. He seems slightly irrational, his thoughts wandering from idea to idea but always returning to fixate on his two cruel daughters. The Fool, who accompanies him, urges him to humble himself before his daughters and seek shelter indoors, but Lear ignores him. Kent finds the two of them and urges them to take shelter inside a nearby hovel. Lear finally agrees and follows Kent toward the hovel. The Fool makes a strange and confusing prophecy.
