Elis [28]

Answer:

The moral of the play "Pygmalion", concerning language is that language can be used to climb social ladder.

Explanation:

In his play "Pygmalion", Shaw wanted to convey the message that a language learned correctly can help a person to overcome the social strata.

In the play, the flower duchess, Liza, learned the language under the supervision of Professor Henry Higgins and Colonel Hugh Pickering.

<span>Racism encompasses both prejudice, the belief that people belong to distinct races with innate hierarchical differences that can be measured and judged; and discrimination, the practice of treating people differently on the basis of their race.

Prejudice against people who belong to certain races involve attitudes and beliefs about them based on stereotypes that are not always accurate. Examples of prejudiced beliefs can include: "Asians are smart", "Muslims are terrorists" or "Americans are ignorant".

What factors led to the development of plantation farming in the Southern Colonies? (e.g. Slavery, Location , (?)
Lorico [155]
The farming plantation in the southern colonies flourished due to its geography and its climate. The land in the southern colonies is considered to be of fertile soil. They also contain hilly coastal plains, rich forests, extensive rivers, and swampy areas which is good for producing crops. The climate is another factor; with its soft winters and humid summers, crops tend to grow right away. The tidewater near the coastal plains also brings in minerals which is good for the crops. The growing seasons in the southern colonies are also much longer compared to other places, so it becomes a place ideal for farming.
