1) Nico might be developing Parkinson's disease.

The given symptoms are very much similar to Parkinson's diseases such as week leg and tiredness, problem in performing simple task even writing or opening doors. Other than this physiologist also found the atrophy of the muscle.

2) In Parkinson's disease slowly brain cells destroy which makes it a degenerative disorder. The region of the brain that controls movements get affected due to brain cell damage. Slowly the movement becomes less and slow to perform simpler tasks too. increased muscle tone leads to muscular stiffness.

3) Damage of basal ganglia can lead to the lack of dopamine that causes this disease. Several reasons such as cerebral arteriosclerosis, cerebral encephalitis can lead to damage of basal ganglia.
