I’m not saying it’s right, but after doing some research, I’m gonna go with option B. Gas particles are placed randomly and are always colliding at different speeds due to their masses and temperatures.
Sedimentary rocks can be dated using radioactive carbon, but because carbon decays relatively quickly, this only works for rocks younger than about 50 thousand years
