Answer:

If they work together, they take 48 minutes to line the football field.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given: Reggie can line a football field in 120 minutes.  Rosalinda can line a football field in 80 minutes.

To find : If they work together, how many minutes does it take them to line a football field?

Solution :

If they work together,

Let the number of minutes(x) they take to line the foot ball field.

According to question,

\frac{1}{x}=\frac{1}{120}+\frac{1}{80}

\frac{1}{x}=\frac{80+120}{120\times 80}

\frac{1}{x}=\frac{200}{120\times 80}

Cross multiply,

x=\frac{120\times 80}{200}

x=12\times 4

x=48

Therefore, If they work together, they take 48 minutes to line the football field.

Answer:  If they work together, they can line a football field in 48 minutes.

Step-by-step explanation:  Given that Reggie can line a football field in 120 minutes and Rosalinda can line a football field in 80 minutes.

We are to find the number of minutes does it take them to line a football field if they work together.

We have

Time taken by Reggie to line a football field = 120 minutes.

So, in 1 minute, Reggie can line \dfrac{1}{120} part of the field.

Time taken by Rosalinda to line a football field = 80 minutes.

So, in 1 minute, Rosalinda can line \dfrac{1}{80} part of the field.

Therefore, if they work together, the portion of the football field that they can lie in 1 minute is given by

\dfrac{1}{120}+\dfrac{1}{80}\\\\\\=\dfrac{2+3}{240}\\\\\\=\dfrac{5}{240}\\\\\\=\dfrac{1}{48}

Thus, if they work together, they can line a football field in 48 minutes.

What is the equilibrium price per DVD?
OleMash [197]
The equilibrium referred to here is the dynamic equilibrium. It means that there is a change happening, but the opposite change are equal so they cancel out. So, we can determine the equilibrium price at the point where the demand and supply curve intersect. That would be at the quantity of 60 units. Therefore, the equilibrium price is $10.

Can someone please help me
pentagon [3]
V = Volume of cylinder
B = area of base
h = height of cylinder

It turns out that
V = B*h
In a similar way to that of a cube

If we know that V = 84pi and h = 7, then we can plug those values into the formula above, and solve for B

V = B*h
84pi = B*7
84pi/7 = B*7/7 ... divide both sides by 7
12pi = B
B = 12pi

Therefore the base is 12pi square units

The graph of f(x) = x2 has been shifted into the form f(x) = (x − h)2 + k: a parabola with a vertex of 4, negative 2 What is the
4vir4ik [10]

we know that

The vertex of the function f(x)=x^{2} is the point (0,0)

The vertex of the function f(x)=(x-h)^{2}+k is the point (4,-2)

The x-coordinate of the vertex is equal to h

the y-coordinate of the vertex is equal to k

so

the value of h is 4

the value of k is -2

the equation is

f(x)=(x-4)^{2}-2

therefore

<u>the answer is the option a</u>

4
