Answer:

took away human rights.

Explanation:

After Brazil tried to create a democracy, military leaders regained power in the 1960s and took away human rights by creating a strong military dictatorship, one of the most severe on the planet. This period became known as a civilian military dictatorship, because despite the full control of the Brazilian military, the dictatorship had the participation of business sectors in the country, mainly banks and federal institutions.

Kublai Khan effectively conquered China by 1279, but he claimed his grandfather Genghis Khan was the official founder of the dynasty. One of the ways in which the Mongols were able to exercise control over China was by rapidly assimilating into Chinese society. Were the Alien and Sedition Acts constitutional or unconstitutional? Did they follow the meaning of the Constitution or did they
lidiya [134]
The Alien and Sedition Acts were unconstitutional as it limited free speech, which is guaranteed in the first Amendment.  If the individual states chose to nullify the acts, that would be a sign of rebellion.  I do not think that the US should institute forms of the Alien and Sedition Act.  It's America. The people here should be free to say what they want to say.
