The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Unfortunately, you forgot to include the question. Here we just have a statement, but not a question.

What is the question? What do you want to know?

If this is a true or false question, the answer is "true."

It is true that James Cox, the Democratic candidate for President, argued in favor that President Wilson's efforts had saved "civilization."

He said the above when he was the democratic candidate for the presidency in the 1920 election.

He finger-pointed the Republicans because he thought they failed to recognize the important decisions President Woodrow Wilson made during World War I and how he approached a peace agreement at the end of the war. Cox indeed considered that Wilson had saved "civilization" with his decisions.

James Cox was a representative for the state of Ohio, and years later, governor of Ohio from 1913 to 1915, and 1917 to 1921.

Why were Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton political opponents?
adelina 88 [10]

Answer:

The correct answer is the second statement: They had different ideas about the ultimate power of the federal government.

Explanation:

Thomas Jefferson believed that the most important instance of the realization of democracy was the state. He thought that the US should develop in a way that people could have simple lives habiting farms and growing food for living with little surplus production. Because of this communal view is that the state was so politically important for him.

Alexander Hamilton believed almost on the contrary. He wanted the US to invest in international trade and to take part in the global trade system. He wanted the country to be able to sell not only food but also manufactured goods. Because of this view, he stood for a strong national government that could organize the country and put it in this economic course.

What American strength did Yamamoto hope to weaken in attacking Midway?
Wittaler [7]
Due to their advanced code-breaking abilities, the United States was able to predict what the Japanese's attack strategy on Pearl Harbor. The U.S. strategically moved their aircraft carriers to avoid the attack and were able to advance on the Japanese Navy.

The aircraft carriers then became the focus of Japan's military strategy. They were upset that their plans were interrupted and didn't work the first time, so they gave it another try. The Japanese fleet commander, Admiral Yamamoto, chose Midway since it was close to Pearl Harbor. His goal was to destroy the American aircraft carriers. He hoped that this tactic would move them away from the rest of the U.S. forces and be the best place to eliminate the carriers.
