Answer:

The caravan traveled 16 miles each day

Step-by-step explanation:

The caravan covers a distance of 1378 miles in 85 days. The first day he covered a distance of 22 miles and the second day it covered a distance of 28 miles. The remaining days will be 85 days minus the 2 days we already know the distance the caravan covered which is 83 days.

According to the question the remaining days he covered has equal distance for each day.

let y = miles covered each day in the remaining 83 days

So total distance covered in those 83 days is 83 × y

Total distance covered for 85 days = 1378 miles

first day  = 22 miles

second day = 28 miles

Remaining 83 days = 83 × y

1378 = 22 + 28 + 83 × y

1378 - 22- 28 = 83y

1328 = 83y

y = 1328/83

y = 16

How many minutes he does arm routine and abdominal routine
AlekseyPX
Let x be the amount of time it takes to perform an arm routine and y be the amount of time it takes to perform an abdominal routine.  We see:

4x+y=70
4x+2y=100

Subtracting the second equation from the first gives y=30.  Substituting gives 4x+30=70, so 4x=40 and x=10.

Thus, an arm routine takes ten minutes and an abdominal routine takes thirty minutes.

6. The dimensions of a living room are 18 ft. by 15 ft. by 8ft. If air weighs 0.08 lb. per cubic foot, the weight of the air in
user100 [1]

The weight of the air in the room is 172.8 lb if the dimensions of a living room are 18 ft. by 15 ft. by 8ft.

<h3>What is a rectangular prism?</h3>

It is defined as the six-faced shape, a type of hexahedron in geometry.

It is a three-dimensional shape. It is also called a cuboid.

It is given that:

The dimensions of a living room are 18 ft. by 15 ft. by 8ft.

The volume of the living room = volume of the cuboid:

V = length×width×height

V = 18×15×8

V = 2160 cubic ft

The weight of the air = 0.08 lb. per cubic foot

The weight of the air in the room = 0.08×2160

The weight of the air in the room = 172.8 lb

Thus, the weight of the air in the room is 172.8 lb if the dimensions of a living room are 18 ft. by 15 ft. by 8ft.

What is the volume of A right prism w/ a triangular base w/ sides of 3,4 and 5 w/ a height of 10?
azamat

Check the picture below.

\bf \textit{volume of a pyramid}\\\\ V=\cfrac{1}{3}Bh~~ \begin{cases} B=&area~of\\ &its~base\\ h=&height\\ \cline{1-2} B=&\frac{1}{2}(3)(4)\\ h=&10 \end{cases}\implies V=\cfrac{1}{3}\cdot \cfrac{1}{2}(3)(4)(10)\implies V=20

Number 9 please. I need help
Sloan [31]

(1/12)X = 6800

6800/ (1/12) = X

X = 81600 (hours)

6800 (6.8 * 10^3) divided by 1/12 (12^-1) equals 81600. It will take 81600 hours for the pool to completely empty at a rate of 0.833333333 or 12^-1 gallons per second.
