Choosing a roommate is more difficult than they might think. People have different attitudes about sharing a living sp

ace. These attitudes are often based on our notions of cleanliness, ownership, and personal space. Some folks don't mind lots of clutter scattered around the house. Others can't stand that idea. Even doing dishes can be a point of contention. One roommate might see nothing wrong with placing dirty dishes in the sink and leaving those there all night. To someone else, which might seem disgusting. A person might feel that anything in the shared living space belongs to everyone that lives there. Another resident might feel that she property is herself alone and not available for use by other roommates. Having quiet time to study is easy to arrange when students live alone. But, when he or she have roommates, they may find it difficult to control hers environment. One student might want to have some friends over for cards or a sports game which was on television. Another might need quiet to study for an exam. The solution to all of those challenges lies not in locating a perfect copy of you. Instead, the key is to live with people who are willing and able to negotiate the rules of the living space for everyone living there.

Answer:

Yes.

Explanation:

Yes, perfect copy of yours is not the solution of this problem, the solution is to find someone that understand the rules as well as follow the rules which are negotiated with him at the start of sharing the room. Different types of people can live with each other if they respect one others opinions and understand each other otherwise it is difficult to live in the same room. If they give space to one another and know their attitudes so they experience no difficulty in living with one another.

Explain five reasons why we need interdisciplinary connectivity approach in teaching physical education and music and dance
olchik [2.2K]

Answer:

“Movement activates the body's neural wiring, and thus the whole body becomes a learning instrument”

Explanation:

The term “movement” describes both internal and external action and encompasses every kind of motor behaviour, from the response of the whole body, to the gross and fine motor skills required to perform complex tasks . Movement occurs in the womb, for quite some time, before birth. In the prenatal environment, the mother's heartbeat may represent the first rhythmic experience.

Movement is the primary means of communication for children. Movement symbolizes their natural response to music and is vital to early childhood musical experience. Prior to language development, children use physical movement and sound to communicate with their surroundings. According to , children use movement to learn how to listen and interpret, respond, and explore. Movement activates and integrates connections in the brain, thus enhancing the learning process.

Active learning is promoted in many areas

Knowledge, behaviour, skills and the likelihood of success are being developed

The learning of relevant topics is maintained (Garcia et al., 1996), appliedand transferred to new conditions (Nichols, 1994).

For young children, movement is a simple learning tool that leads to a more integrated interaction with the subject (Werner & Burton, 1979) and enhances the learning of basic concepts such as shape, energy, space, time and the Critical Thinking.5. Motion is a way of self-expression and social interaction.

Motor activities stimulate and attract children and facilitate the linking of learning experiences to everyday life (Garcia et al, 1996).

When body and mind are actively involved, memory develops.

What does the term “plastic” most likely mean as used in paragraph 2 of "Self-Reliance" by Ralph Waldo Emerson?
valentinak56 [21]

Answer:

C. something that can be molded or shaped

Explanation:

Emerson's essay "Self-Reliance" mostly deals with individualism and the relationship of a non-conformist individual to the society that forces an individual to conform.

Basically, whene Emerson states that "society isn't the measure of all things" he suggests that people should follow their inner voice, follow their heart and instincts, rather than do what society expects them to do, depriving themselves of every spontaneity.

In paragraph 2, he states that people should be "...pious aspirants to be

noble clay plastic under the Almighty effort...".

That basically means that every man should mold their own life from the clay that was given to him and not merely take a shape of whatever society wants him to take, refusing his individuality by doing so.
