Which response is a synonym of persevere?
Dennis_Churaev [7]

Answer: carry on

Explanation: persevere means to continue and not give up. Giving in is the exact opposite of not giving up. Cooperate means to work with someone else which is not a synonym of not giving up. Adjust means to cope and change to something new and different. Therefore carry on is the best fit.

Compare and contrast metaphors and similes and their purposes
insens350 [35]
They both are forms of figurative language used for comparison, but metaphors and similies do differ greatly. Similies are a comparison using the word like or as. Metaphors are a comparison without like or as, and more distinct. So the difference is Similies always contain the word like or as in their comparison, while metaphor doesn't have to.
