An absolute location consists on the description of the exact site on an objective coordinate system, such as a grid.

When refering to a map or the Earth, the absolute location refers to the latitude and the longitude of a specific place. Those are the coordinates which allow a person to indentify an absolute location. Nowadays, there exist innovated devices which allow a person to find an absolute location on Earth, such as GPS or Google Earth.
