Answer: hi your question has some missing data attached below is the missing table

answer : $9

Explanation:

If Simone practices price discriminations across cities i.e. charging different prices across city  instead of charging a single price

<u>To determine the additional profit we will apply the formula below</u>

Profit made from charging different prices   -  profit made from charging a single price

= ( ( $11 * 4) + ( $9 * 4 ) + ( $10 * 5) )  - ( $11 * 11 units )

= $130 - $121

= $9

Note : For a single pricing system Simone will sell only 11 units at a unit price of $11

while for different pricing system Simone will sell 4 units in city A at$11 , 4 units in City B at $9 ,  5 units in city C at $10

Ruby is 25 and has a good job at a biotechnology company. She currently has $10,000 in an IRA, an important part of her retireme
kirill115 [55]

Answer:

a. How much will Ruby’s IRA be worth when she needs to start withdrawing money from it when she retires?

the future value of Ruby's IRA = $10,000 x 21.725 (FV factor, 8%, 40 periods) = $217,250

b. How much money will she have to accumulate in her company’s 401(k) plan over the next 40 years in order to reach her retirement income goal?

she needs to accumulate $875,000 - $217,250 = $657,750 during the next 40 years

the annual contribution = FV / FV annuity factor = $657,750 / 259.057 (FV annuity factor, 8%, 40 periods) = $2,539.02 per year

An engineering graduate plans to buy a home. She has been advised that her monthly house and property tax payment should not exc
dimaraw [331]

Answer:

$83,107.20

Explanation:

Amount available for monthly house payment = [$ 2000 * 35% ] - $ 150

= $700 - $150

= $550

Effective rate per month = 6.95% / 12 months = 0.00579 = 0.579%

No of periods = 30 years * 12 months = 360 months

Present Value = Amount available for monthly house payments * [P/A,0.579%,360]

[P/A,0.579%,360] =[(1 + i)^n - 1] / [( 1 + i)^n * I]= [(1 + 0.00579)^360 - 1] / [( 1 + 0.00579)^360 * 0.00579]

P/A,0.579%,360 = [7.99158 - 1] / [ 7.99158 * 0.00579]

P/A,0.579%,360 = 6.99158 / 0.04627

P/A,0.579%,360 = 151.104

Present Value = Amount available for monthly house payments * [P/A,0.579%,360]

Present Value = $550 * 151.104

Present Value = $83,107.20

Thus, the max amount she can par for the house is $83,107.20
