Explanation: The slave trade brought about a negative impact on African societies and led to the long-term impoverishment of West Africa. This intensified effects that were already present among its rulers, kinships, kingdoms and in society. it still impacts people today since african americans still experience racism and people make it hard for them cause of their skin color

I am by no means an expert on this subject, and I also recognize the answer to this question is subjective. but we can combat it by standing with the race who has suffered the most in the slave trade (ive heard many races suffered during that time)
