Me. Driscoll has 9 reports to grade. There are 6 page for each report. He grades 12 pages. How many pages does he still have to
ohaa [14]
So easy

so driscoll has 9 reports to grade and each page has 6 pages.

just multiply 9 and 6 which gives you your answer 54.

so out of 54, he has graded only 12 pages which means that you need to subtract.

54-12=42

driscoll has 42 pages left to grade.

you can recheck your answer by adding 42 ans 12 which gives your answer as 54. so yup our answer is right.

Answer:

There are three liters of milk in each of the new containers.

Step-by-step explanation:

You take the milk from the two fullest containers. Both of those have 4 1/2 liters of milk. Add them together, this makes 9 liters of milk. He then divides the milk evenly into three new containers, so divide 9 by 3. This makes 3 liters of milk per container.

3x + 6y= 180<br>What is x and y
Diano4ka-milaya [45]

Answer and explanation:

<h2>X</h2>

3x + 6y = 180  <em>Use the original expression to find x</em>

3x = 180 - 6y  <em>Subtract 6y by both sides</em>

\frac{3x}{3} = \frac{180}{3} - \frac{6y}{3}  <em>Divide by 3 to get x</em>

x = 60 - 3y

<h2>Y</h2>

x = 60 - 3y  <em>Use the new expression to find y</em>

x - 60 = - 3y  <em>Subtract 60 by both sides</em>

\frac{x - 60}{-3} = \frac{-3y}{-3}  <em>Divide by -3 to get y</em>

-\frac{x}{3} + 20 = y

If g(x) = 2x – 5, then evaluate g(2x2 – 3)<br><br> please explain.
Juliette [100K]
2(2x^2-3) -5
4x^2 - 6 - 5
4x^2 - 11

g(x) = 2x - 5
If you had to evaluate g(3)
You would substitute 3 in for the x and simplify. Instead of substituting a single number you are substituting the binomial
2x^2 -3 and then simplifying. I hope you understand.
