Answer and Explanation:

1. Eliza is a woman full of life and willing to know the world, but she is constantly trapped in the patriarchal social concept that takes over our society. She cannot do what she wants, because society puts her in a position of impotence for being a woman. However, the tinker, being a man, has the complete freedom he wants, with nothing to stop him from living the way he thinks best.

2. For Eliza, the tinker represents freedom, the ability to live a life without borders, to go wherever you want and to have no limitations.

3. There are controversies about the nature of the tinker, but taking into account the strong persuasion that he exercised over Eliza to buy her products, we can say that he is a swindler, because he took advantage of her interest in him, to get his hands on in her money.

4. They are similar in presenting a strong desire related to their own lives. The tinker has a strong desire to obtain wealth, to sell his products and to have enough money to live. Eliza, on the other hand, wants freedom to live, she very much wants to be free from all social ties and live a full life.
