The lord knew that a flood was soon to come so he warned Noah and told him to build an ark. After he was to build the ark he was then told to get 2 of every animal on the ark and preach the word of the lord. Although when he taught what the lord told him about the flood to come only little amounts of people followed his command and when the flood finally came about those who did not listen to what Noah said died and suffered. Those who did as Noah said lived and survived the extremely dangerous flood that had occurred

Also in modern day military soldiers are "Harsh" because they were trained to be and they depend on the military to take care of their families. Plus they were sworn in and cannot break their vow. They swear to protect their country even if it costs their own life. They are to show no mercy to anyone and are to obey orders with out question.

On the other hand, the following adjectives took longer to think of: Generous, Independent, Resourceful, Courageous, Practical, Energetic, Motivated, Adaptable, and Truthful.

Some adjectives are easy to think of more than others because some human qualities are visible while others remain concealed.
