How is listening to the poem "Friendship" being read aloud different from reading it silently? Reading the poem aloud makes it e

asier to know where each stanza begins and ends. Reading the poem aloud reveals a rhythm that may not be apparent when the poem is read silently. There is more emphasis placed on the word "friendship" when the poem is read aloud than when it's read silently. Hearing each word enunciated correctly makes the humor of the poem more obvious and apparent.

Answer:

Hearing each word enunciated correctly makes the humor of the poem more obvious and apparent.

Explanation:

Listening to the poem "Friendship" being read aloud is different from reading it silently because when you hear each word pronounced correctly as the writer intended, the humor is obvious and it makes it more enjoyable.

What is Keller's response to criticisms others have about American materialism in regard to the Empire State Building?
goblinko [34]

Answer:

She claims that the Empire State Building still has poetry beneath its surface, and it´s a source of inspiration, something beautiful and spiritual.

Explanation:

When asked about what he "saw" from the top of the then newly-opened, Hellen Keller, who was famously both deaf and blind since she was a child, wrote a letter (1932) describing her experience. There, she deems those who see the building as a symbol of American Materialism and vanity to be cynics and supersensitive souls, unable to appreciate the beauty of the building and how it symbolizes the efforts put into constructing it.
