ll love u 4 evea PLEASEEE.....................................................................................................................................................................................................Three salesmen work for the same company, selling the same product. And, although they are all paid on a weekly basis, each salesman earns his paycheck differently. Salesman A works strictly on commission. He earns $65 per sale, with a maximum weekly commission of $1,300. Salesman B earns a weekly base salary of $300, plus a commission of $40 per sale. There are no limits on the amount of commission he can earn. Salesman C does not earn any commission. His weekly salary is $900.
The weekly paycheck amount for each salesman, p, is a function of the number of sales, s, they had in that week.

What is the slope of the function representing the weekly paycheck amount for Salesman A? Use complete sentences to explain your reasoning, or show your calculations.
What is the slope of the function representing the weekly paycheck amount for Salesman B? Use complete sentences to explain your reasoning, or show your calculations.
What is the slope of the function representing the weekly paycheck amount for Salesman C? Use complete sentences to explain your reasoning, or show your calculations.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Salesman A earns $65 for each sale. His line slope is 65 for sales 0 ≤ s ≤ 20 after which the slope is zero.

pA = 65s for 0 ≤ s ≤ 20

pA = 1300 for s > 20

Salesman B has a slope of $40/sale with a y intercept of 300

pB = 40s + 300 for s > 0

Salesman C has a slope of 0 and a y intercept of 900

pC = 900 for s > 0

slope  = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

      =  (2--1)/(5-1)

      = (2+1)/(4)

       =3/4

The point slope from of a line is

y-y1 = m(x-x1)

y--1 = 3/4 (x-1)

y+1 = 3/4 (x-1)
