Hook: Who here likes cooking and showing your talent rather than washing cars when we can have machines do it for us? If u feel that way than come help raise this bake sale so we can help fund a charity.

If u feel like you don't have time to wash a car but u can cook at home, than please help join the bake sale so we can fund a charity, we would really like some help. Making cake is easier than washing cars, who does that these days, that's so outdated, don't you want to make something for poor, hungry children that really need food, than lets make a bake sale to raise the roof. Claim: Bake sales are better than car washes. Counterclaim: Why waste food for the children when you can wash cars to get money and give it to children. Evidence: If you give children money, what will they do with it, they're just kids, adults may steal their money, wouldn't be better to just send food or purchase them food to help them survive and not starve to death, we need to think of their interests and needs, and even if you give them money, they could honestly lose it or buy toys and etc, its just the facts so its important to think of their needs, not greeds. In conclusion its better to do a bake sale to save time, money, and lives.

Answer:

2) Courage.

Explanation:

A connotation can be defined as the quality, feeling or an idea which a word brings to the mind of a person, as well as its literal, dictionary or primary meaning.

Courage refers to the quality that is being possessed by a confident or brave individual which makes him or her not to be intimidated, frightened easily while being cautious in his or her actions.

Hence, the word "courage" provides an appropriate connotation of the word heart as it is used in this sentence: The guard dog defended his owner with the heart of a warrior.

This ultimately implies that, the dog defended his owner courageously like a warrior.
