Algebra 1!!! I need help ASAP!!
vesna_86 [32]

To understand the algebra, go through the following equations below:

 • First the thing to note is that the top square is the square of the bottom square: Stage 1: 1 & 1^{2} , stage 2 = 2 & 2^{2}, stage 3 = 3 & 3^{2}
 • Second image: Just add the two values above to get the total of tiles needed. For stage 5: 5 + 5^{2} = 30, Stage 12: 12 + 12^{2} = 156

Part B

 • First equation : y = n^{2} + n
 • second equation: y = n + (n*n)

Meaning of algebra

Algebra is defined as a branch of mathematics that deals with variables, symbols and finding of these unknown using arithmetic operation such as ( +, -, *, ÷ )

Algebra is the study and understanding of mathematical symbols and how to manipulate them in mathematical problems and formulae.

In conclusion, the above are the solution to the questions on the attached image.

Please help is how you do it?
maks197457 [2]
Problems 5, 7A, and 7C are the only ones with correct answers.

But for 1 - 6, you're also supposed to color in the same amount of the big square,
and for 7, you're also supposed to mark a dot on the number line. You haven't
done any of these things.

All of these problems are just changing a fraction to another fraction that's
equivalent but has a different denominator. Whatever the old denominator
was multiplied by to get the new one, the old numerator also has to be
multiplied by the same thing. If you don't do that, then you've changed
the value of the fraction.

You have some more work to do.

A swimming pool charges $6 for adults and $4 for children. On a particular day, they made $1,326 in admissions. If a total of 28
muminat
X= # of adults
y= # of children

1326= 6x + 4y
289= x + y

We are going to do substitution.

x = 289-y
1326= 6(289-y) + 4y
1326= 1734 -6y + 4y
1326= 1734 + -2y
-408= -2y
204 = y

Since we now have a value for y, we should plug that back into the equation we got the x value from to find the actual numerical value of x.

289= x + y
289= x + 204
85= x

In conclusion, 85 adults and 204 adults went to the swimming pool.
