w=8

Step-by-step explanation:

they made the question complicated. there are x flyers they divided among 5 volunteers. so 2×5 because they take 2 from the five people. so that's 10. after they took 10 flyers they had 40 left. so to begin with they had 50 flyers to begin with. and 50÷5=10 so w=10 if you don't get it I would be happy to explain further just leave a comment. also please mark me brainleist

A warehouse worker loads a cart with 14 boxes. The boxes have an average weight of 24 pounds. The worker picks up a new box and
Alex

Answer: 39 pounds

Step-by-step explanation:

At first, the warehouse worker loads a cart with 14 boxes and the boxes have an average weight of 24 pounds. The total weight of the boxes will be:

= 14 × 24

= 336 pounds

Since the worker picks up a new box and puts it on the cart and the average weight of the boxes is 25 pounds. It means that the boxes are now 15 and their total weight will be:

= 15 × 25

= 375 pounds

The weight of the new box will be:

= 375 - 336

= 39 pounds

A plant food recipe calls for 1 1/2 cups of fertilizer for every 3 3/4 cups of water. If a gardener makes a 42 cup of plant food
bearhunter [10]

Step-by-step explanation:

Firstly we need to ratio the fertilizer to plant food:

1\frac{1}{2} : 3 \frac{3}{4}

Lets add these two values together:

1\frac{1}{2} + 3 \frac{3}{4} = 5 \frac{1}{4}

So now we know one of each, we can divide the above value into 42 to find out the amount:

42 ÷ 5\frac{1}{4} = 8

So this means that 8 portions of each can be used. This can calculate the full ratio by multiplying each ratio by 8:

(1\frac{1}{2} * 8) : (3 \frac{3}{4} * 8) =

12 : 30

You have not included the statements although I hope you can decide which statement is true via the explanation above, feel free to comment the different statements if need be.

Hope this helps!
