Answer:

(Answers may vary.)

I created a 5-minute introduction so that the other team members would get to know me better. First, I included basic information. I wrote down my name and described my designation in the organization. I then provided information about the current projects I was working on and my role in my team. I included this information because I thought that these were some of the basic details my teammates must know about me when working together.

I then included some information that I thought the team should know. I included information about my previous jobs, internships, and academic experiences that provided me with experience relevant to what I would be working on in my present job. I added examples of tactical ways in which I solved major problems at my previous organization. I added this information because I thought that they would be happy to know that I was a good troubleshooter and that I could work under pressure. I limited this portion of my introduction to just the information my team members would want to know to help with the project, as I did not want to seem boastful, yet simply eager to contribute.

Finally, as part of the information that my teammates would find nice to know, I talked a bit about my family and hobbies so that they could know me on a personal level. I also told them about how excited I was to join the team and that I looked forward to working with all of them. This additional information would let my teammates know that I was eager to start working with them.

What was the best piece of advice you ever got? Who gave it to you? When did you get it? Did you use it for a good affect??
Scorpion4ik [409]
Is this a question for an essay?

You have to answer on your own example, but for me, it's like this:

The best piece of advice I ever got was from an older friend who was advising me in my college choice back when I was applying for my college.

She said that upon choosing college I can't possibly have all the information about the colleges I consider, so I will end up guessing anyway. In this case it's better to worry less about the college choice and to try to make the best out of the experience once I am at the college already. This advice helped me use the time at my college more effectively.

Before the main performance, the audience was entertained by a comedian.
nlexa [21]
Before the main performance, the comedian entertained the audience. This is because, on the other choices the active voice changes. For example, the one right above it. “ Before the main performance, the comedian was entertained by the audience.” It cannot be that choice because the audience didn’t entertain the comedian that’s his/her job.

Goshia [24]

Saving money to buy a new car within a year is an example of a long-term goal, because it is a goal that takes a long time to accomplish and requires several stages in the process. It takes planning and strategy, and the results are not immediate.
