The United Nations is an international organization that was founded in 1945 to take actions on the issues confronting the humanity, such as: peace and security, climate change, sustainable development, human rights, terrorism, humanitarian and health emergencies, gender equality, and many others.
It has six main bodies: the General Assembly; the Security Council; the Economic and Social Council; the Trusteeship Council; the International Court of Justice and the Secretariat.
Without it all I know is that the Japanese got bombed or nuked and almost forced to surrender to The Potsdam Conference. Which also led to the negotiate terms to the end of World War II.
