How did Lincoln’s goals change towards the end of the war?
pychu [463]

Answer:

His goal was to end slavery forever in all parts of the United States.

Explanation:

But, Lincoln wanted the North and South to come together in  peace after the Civil War. On December 8, 1863, Lincoln issued his  Proclamation of Amnesty and Reconstruction.  First, he offered to pardon to any southerner who would take an  oath of loyalty to the Union and agree to accept all presidential  decrees and congressional acts relating to slavery.  Second, when ten percent of the people in a Confederate state  who had been eligible to vote in 1860 took the oath of loyalty,  they could organize a government, elect representatives to  Congress, and consider themselves restored to the Union.

How did the Civil War help the cause of women's suffrage?
DaniilM [7]

Answer:

Option B is the right answer.

Explanation:

During the Civil war, the Women’ Suffrage movement was masked due to the war effort and abolition of slavery of Africans. Many conventions and lectures were held by the women activists but were not acknowledged.

After the war, women leaders raised their voice out of rage to claim the Enfranchisement right. The leaders gave final consent for the liberation of slaves but women were given little importance. This made them demonstrate their protest.

After years of Strife and struggle, under the president Woodrow Wilson, the constitution was amended and the final approval was given to women to cast their vote henceforth.
