When transposing by interval, you first determine how far apart in intervals the new key is from the old key, and then, you move all the pitches that same, exact distance to create the transposed melody.The piece is too high for the high school sopranos to sing comfortably, so you must transpose the music down a whole step.​The interval transposition method is a good choice when transposing between keys that are close to each other, like half steps or whole steps apart, or when transposing to easily-recognizable intervals like octaves.
