We are gathered here today to mark the last day for the the celebration of our nutrition and safety week durbar. I must confess, I am happy because it is a privilege for me to stand before you all and share with you Important infomation on how to improve nutrition and environmental safety in basic school.
Good nutrition, they say is the way to prosperity. I must commend the school authority for what they have done so far concerning nutrition and environmental safety in basic school, nonethelesss, there is still room for improvement.
The school school be a place where good and healthy habit are nurtured. So, here are the things the school authority can do in order to improve nutrition and environmental safety in basic school;
(A). REGARDING WATER AND FOOD:
- students should be allowed to bring their water bottles into the classroom.
- food served in the canteen should be verified to be a clean and healthy one.
- vegetable garden should be established.
(B). REGARDING ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY, REST AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES:
- Good Physical training policies should be enacted and must be monitored.
- Playground facilities should be in good condition.
- there should be of physical education.
