Answer:

The sun

Explanation:

“Approximately 4.6 billion years ago, the solar system was a cloud of dust and gas known as a solar nebula. Gravity collapsed the material in on itself as it began to spin, forming the sun in the center of the nebula. With the rise of the sun, the remaining material began to clump together.“

I'm not sure I completely understand what the question is asking for. When I look at the plates, it looks like they all fit together like a giant puzzle. They separated due to tectonic plates shifting over hundreds of years. This was based on the theory that there was a supercontinent (one giant landmass). I'm not sure how much this helps, but I hope it does. Good luck!!

How does altitude impact atmospheric pressure? As altitude decreases, atmospheric pressure decreases As altitude increases, atmo
Tasya [4]

Answer: As altitude increases, atmospheric pressure decreases

Explanation:

Atmospheric pressure P is defined as the force F per unit area S the air that forms the atmosphere exerts on the Earth's surface:

P=\frac{F}{S}

It should be noted that as the altitude increases less air is above and, therefore the air weights less. This is because the atmosphere losses density as we ascend, causing less air.

However, it is important to point out this decrease in pressure is not linear, since at the beginning (in the first kilometers above sea level) it reduces more rapidly than in the next kilometers above. That is why this relationship between atmospheric pressure and altitude is exponential.

A lagoon forms in shallow water. true or false
r-ruslan [8.4K]

Answer:

It is true

Explanation:

"A lagoon is a shallow body of water separated from a larger body of water by barrier islands or reefs. Lagoons are commonly divided into coastal lagoons and atoll lagoons. They have also been identified as occurring on mixed-sand and gravel coastlines. There is an overlap between bodies of water classified as coastal lagoons and bodies of water classified as estuaries. Lagoons are common coastal features around many parts of the world."
