Answer:

Dear uncle Joe,

I hope that you and your family are doing well. I am happy because I am finishing high school in a few weeks, but at the same time, I am a little concerned about my future.

I want to go to college to study law and pursuit a career as an immigration lawyer. I consider that immigrants, on many occasions, are mistreated or judged wrong. I have witnessed it with my best friend and his mother, who had to go back to their country after not getting their citizenship.

I think that it is a rewarding career where I can help people and fight the injustices that the system has. In that way, I will be contributing to a better society where things are fair for all of us and not just for a reduced number of people.

I have good grades in school, and I am a very dedicated student. I even got a scholarship in my dream university, but still, it is not enough money to cover tuition fees. I am asking for your help to fulfill my dream of becoming an immigrant lawyer.

I hope that you can help me.

All the best.

John.

Explanation:

When we write a letter, we first have to address the person to who we are writing, in this case, our uncle. Then, we make an introduction, where we introduce the reason why we are writing. In the following paragraphs, we describe the reasons that we have to continue our education. In the last section, we ask our uncle to assist us financially, and lastly, we write a closing sentence and our signature.

Answer:

Explanation:

I am not sure how to help you put them into the chart, but I can point them out

The error of highly in Line 3 should be high

The error of trusting in Line 4 should be trust

The error of "hovering, helicopter parent" Line 5 should be "hovering helicopter parent". Remove the comma or add "a" in-front of helicopter parent. I am sure either of the two corrections will be fine

The error of making in Line 7 should be makes. In the same line builds should be building. This is optional and I am not sure how it will work out, but you can change experience to experiences.

The error in the last line take out one.

You can read through the optional corrections to see how it works to your liking.

Dawid writes, “long live humor”. How does he show in his diary that he had a sense of humor?
Ksenya-84 [330]
In page 33, in the Diary of Sierakowiak, there were entries like "And the railway station in Zbaszyn has been taken back from the Germans! We disperse full of joy and go to sleep" and "Long live humor; down with hysteria." And in page 21 , we find that he had a good time with his friends in a summer camp. Quotes like these show that he wanted to come out of the gloom at least for a while and cherish those in his mind .

What is a parenthetical citation?
Komok [63]
Parenthetical citations are citations to original sources that appear in the text of your paper. This allows the reader to see immediately where your information comes from, and it saves you the trouble of having to make footnotes or endnotes.
