Answer:

C. Deposition

Explanation:

Deposition is the geological process in which sediments, soil, and rocks are added to a landform or landmass. Wind, ice, water, and gravity transport previously weathered surface material, which, at the loss of enough kinetic energy in the fluid, is deposited, building up layers of sediment.

Compare and contrast ectothermy and endothermy, including their pros and cons.
spin [16.1K]

Endothermy is just another word for the term "warm-blooded" and ectothermy is closest to the meaning of "cold-blooded." The obvious pros of endothermy is the ability to perform more activities within a larger range of temperatures. For example, a human would be able to walk around in 100 degree weather Fahrenheit. They would probably be sweating a lot to maintain body temperature and would require lots of water, but they could do it. In contrast, a Lizard would most likely be forced to stay in the shade under a rock or another place as they have no system for maintaining their body temperature, and thus would have to wait until the environmental temperature cooled down before they could find food or move around. The cons of endothermy is it requires a lot more energy for an organism to maintain homeostasis, which is also a pro of ectothermy as lizards and similar ectothermic organisms can utilize more of their energy to d food or move around. Hope this helps!

Dose euglena have more than one cell
arlik [135]

Euglena are single cell flagellates....they have chloroplasts so are capable of photosynthesis- like a plant...but can also “eat” other carbon sources. They belong to the Kingdom Protista.

How do oxygen and glucose molecules release energy in the cells? please make it simple
Dafna11 [192]

Answer:

Your body cells use the oxygen you breathe to get energy from the food you eat. This process is called cellular respiration. During cellular respiration the cell uses oxygen to break down sugar. When the cell uses oxygen to break down sugar, oxygen is used, carbon dioxide is produced, and energy is released. In cells use oxygen to release energy stored in sugars such as glucose. In fact, most of the energy used by the cells in your body is provided by cellular respiration.

Explanation:

i tried my best to break it down into a simple explanation. hope this isn't too complicated, and i hope it helps!! have a nice day.

How can the collision of plates lead to the formation of sedimentary rocks?
ANTONII [103]
Sedimentary rocks are layers of aging rocks. They are combined to each other, forming one big rock. When plates go on top of each other, they will merge and become a sedimentary rock. Hope my answer was useful, and don't forget to make this answer the best!

BigorU [14]

Answer:

Yes.

Explanation:

Yes, DNA is formed from three main components comprise of deoxyribose sugar, phosphate group, and a nitrogen- containing base. This DNA molecule have a genetic information about the organism's form and structure. DNA is made of blocks of nucleotide and that nucleotide is formed from deoxyribose sugar, phosphate group, and a nitrogen- containing base.
