14. Farming was extremely important because it allowed people to settle down. This also assisted in allowing us to grow things that proved to be more beneficial to the body. Due to the fact that farming made us settle down, we were then able to conduct research and learn about medicine. Farming also allowed people to create surplus food, which allowed for bigger populations and fewer workers.
