Answer:

well if 2 of the boys get a total of 3lbs of apples that means they get to eat 1.5lbs per person and if the other 3 boys get 2lbs to share amongst themselves that means they get 0.6lbs of apples per person so therefore the 2 boys will have a greater amount of apples than the 3 boys because the ratio of the lbs of apples to boys is greater. hope this helps! :))

Find the area of the triangle given below.
Nimfa-mama [501]

<u>Given:</u>

A triangle with a base length of 22 ft and a height of 20 ft.

<u>To find:</u>

The area of the given triangle.

<u>Solution:</u>

The area of a triangle is obtained by multiplying \frac{1}{2} with its base length and its height.

The area of a triangle = \frac{1}{2} (b)(h).

The height is the distance from the base to the highest point on the triangle and the length of the base is the base length.

The given triangle has a base length of 22 ft and a height of 20 ft.

The area of the triangle = \frac{1}{2} (b)(h) = \frac{1}{2} (22)(20).

\frac{1}{2} (22)(20) = \frac{1}{2} (440) = 220 ft².

The given triangle has an area of 220 ft².

For a field trip, 6 students rode in cars and the rest
Marrrta [24]

Answer:

(326-6) ÷ 8 = s

40 = s

Step-by-step explanation:

326-6=320 This was done so we get to know the total amount of students in busses, since six rode in cars.

Then we divide the amount of students in busses by the amount of busses to get 40. 40 students in each bus.
