The Renaissance was important because it was a symbol of hope and was a new rebirth. It allowed new ideas to be discovered and was embraced by most people. I believe an enlightenment can always happen, and there is still many things that we need to fix in our country.

Boss Tweed(1823-1878) was a United States politician leader of the political machine of the Democratic Party called "Tammany Hall" in New York City.
