Answer: tendance éclectique

How do you compare poems
Rudik [331]
When comparing poems, one key thing that would actually be very good to do would be the fact of always finding relations in each poem that you would be seeing. Find key points in the poem that would also be the same as the other poem in order to compare them and to also find the relation.

I need to write a possion de avril poem and barely have a grasp on the vocabulary. Just by turning something in I'll get a passi
Lady_Fox [76]

Answer: Le premier d'avril. Il fait beau!

Je rêve d'une promenade sur la plage.

On veut mettre un poisson sur le dos.

Méfiez-vous des poissons rouges. Soyez sage!

Explanation:

The traditional April Fool's prank in France is to pin/tape a red fish to someone's back without them noticing. People may start laughing at the "victim" of the prank. So, this "poem" is a commentary.

The first of April. The weather is nice!

I dream of taking a walk on the beach.

People want to put a fish on your back.

Beware of red fish. Be wise!

This will never pass as great literature, but it may help you pass.

(If I have used vocabulary you don't have in your glossary, be careful!)

WHO IS MAXIMILIEN ROBESPIERRE?

Maximilien François Marie Isidore de Robespierre or better known simply as Maximilien Robespierre.

(May 6, 1758- July 28, 1794)

He is a well-known Jacobin leader and one of the most prominent figures of the French Revolution.

In the remaining months of 1793 he came to overpower the Committee of Public Safety, the principal organ of the Revolutionary government during the known Reign of Terror, but in 1794 he was overthrown and executed in the Thermidorian Reaction.

As an important member of the Committee of Public Safety in 1793, Robespierre was the main reason of the deadly execution, mostly by guillotine, of more than 17,000 enemies of the Revolution. After the day of his arrest, Robespierre and 21 of his followers were guillotined before a huddle of rejoicing crowd in the Place de la Revolution in Paris.

Robespierre became a prominent member of the Revolutionary body. He took a radical, democratic stance and was known as “the Incorruptible” that time for his dedication to social morality. In April 1790, he took over the Jacobins, a powerful political club that promoted the ideas of the French Revolution. He encourage for King Louis XVI to be put on trial for treason and won many enemies after that.
