What is rip van winkles's relationship with nature?
Tresset [83]
For Rip Van Winkle, nature offers Rip a sense of freedom. Early in the story, he desires to leave his nagging wife and all the difficulties of modern, industrialized life behind. By escaping into the woods and living in nature, he feels he will be able to leave freely in solitude and peace. Nature, then, serves as a place where Rip can find harmony and personal satisfaction.

what do you think was the most important legacy of ancient Greece? Explain and give specific examples from your reading to suppo
iVinArrow [24]
In my opinion, the most important legacy of ancient Greece is its politics - to be more precise, I am referring to democracy.
Democracy today is a very important political ideology which originated in ancient Greece. So if it hadn't been for ancient politicians and philosophers in Greece, there probably wouldn't have been even the notion of democracy today.
