I've been home schooled for this semester, and in private school for 2 yrs before that.
cestrela7 [59]

Public school is a fairly different change from private and home schooling but it's nothing to fear -- there are a lot of different people there which almost make it impossible for you to not click with someone or even a group of people. School shootings are sadly much more common these days but i'm sure your school takes certain safety measures in hopes of preventing any sort of occurrence that could put you in danger. There are certain freedoms of public schools that you should take advantage of and enjoy especially as you near your high school career, give it the first week and i'm sure your find yourself enjoying it! :)

Proofread the following text and correct the three subject-verb disagreements. If online dating has become too tedious for you,
Genrish500 [490]

A subject-verb disagreement is when we use the plural-form verb for a single-form noun or a single-form verb is used for a plural noun, for example "she read" or "they reads". In the text the three subject-verb disagreements are: 1. "app that ask people" it should be: "app that asks people" because app is a singular noun. 2. "There are a difference", the correct form would be: "There is a difference" because difference is a singular noun. 3. "What the public actually desire" it should be: What the public actually desires" because public is a singular noun.

My classes for this semester is algebra, music, history, and writing
Tanya [424]

The proper revision of the given sentence is: My classes for this semester are algebra, music, history, and writing

What is a Revision?

This refers to the editing of a text by the addition of a word(s) or phrase(s) and removal of obsolete ones.

Hence, we can see that when the original sentence is edited, the use of "is" is replaced with "are" as the speaker is referring to multiple items and hence they have to be in the plural form.
