Piet Mondrian removed
worldly objects from his work, creating what he called Neoplasticism (the new
pure plastic art).
Mondrian was Dutch
painter and theoretician and one of the pioneers of 20th century abstract art.
He evolved non-representational form to achieve universal beauty. His art is characteristic
for artistic vocabulary being reduced to simple geometric elements and three
primary colors (red, blue and yellow). For example artworks like “Composition
no 10”, “Composition II in Red. Blue and Yellow” or “Victory Boogie Woogie”.
