Answer:

This is a sketch by James McNeill Whistler of John Ross Key in the Coast Survey office in Washington, D. C., in 1854. Key, who was the nephew of Francis Scott Key, was a draftsman in the office at the time of the drawing.

Explanation:

Although the drawing is not included in the question, it is not necessary in order to answer it. The most appropriate choice for a museum caption is option C. This option provides objective information and delivers it in an appropriate way. Option A and option B state opinions. The first one makes suggestions on how to improve the painting while the second one comments on what the best song in the world is. Option D, moreover, refers to a character as "guy." All of these options, therefore, include bias and inappropriate language.

1) The line Meanwhile we do no harm is an example of which literary device? A) alliteration B) hyperbole C) irony D) metaphor
miss Akunina [59]

I personally would say c) irony.

Why?

Alliteration is like the sally seashells kids song.

Metaphor is saying " he is a rock" when "he" is not actually a rock

Hyperbole is something exaggerated or a claim.

That makes me believe it is irony. Hope this helps.
