When Kipling says that the reward for Imperialism is “the blame of those ye better/ and the hate of those ye guard” to what is h
tester [92]
He is referring to the policies of colonialism that were widespread. He was British and visited many of the British colonies, but spent a lot of his time in India. These were all lands that Britain had previously colonized and he is referring to the colonization that was predominantly done by white people from Europe.

They would blame them because they wouldn't be free. Which of the following describes the transition from Roman Republic to empire?
marta [7]

Answer:

Correct answer is It was a rapid transition marked by violent internal conflict.

Explanation:

Last option is correct as after the death of Julius Caesar a second triumvirate was established. But it didn't last for a long period as civil war broke out.

Octavian fought against Mark Anthony and managed to defeat him after a couple of years of war. After that Augustus was proclaimed as a first Roman emperor.

All options which are saying that it fast peaceful transition are false, as it was a period of civil wars, while I wouldn't say that it was a slow transition as the conflicts didn't last for too long.
